Aflatoxin M1 Rapid Test Strips (0.025ppb)

Catalog No. : GF08Aj5

1. Brief

This product is used for testing Aflatoxin M1 in raw milk and dairy products sample qualitatively. The whole test only need 11 min, easy to operate with high sensitivity.

2. Packing:  96tests/box

3. Components

1) 6 tubes: each tube includes 16 test strips and 16 micro-wells red solid reagent.

2) Manual: 1 piece.

4. Detection limit

Test name

The National Standard (μg/kg)

Detection limit (μg/kg)

Aflatoxin M1

Undetectable

0.025

5. Date of manufacture and batch number: See bag and outer box for details.

6. Principle

The colloidal gold immuno-chromatography was used to detect the aflatoxins M1 residue in the samples. The binding of aflatoxins M1 to the specific monoclonal antibody labeled with colloidal gold inhibited the binding of the antibody to the conjugates of aflatoxins M1-BSA on the NC membrane Testing line, which resulted in the color depth variation of the testing line.

7. Specificity

Test 500μg/kg Tetracyclines, Quinolones, Sulfonamides and other drugs. All the results are negative.

8. Testing equipment

Instruments: Micropipette, 1 incubator, 1 Reader (optional), timer.

Consumables: disposable tips

9. Sample pre-treatment

I. Raw milk (including raw cow's milk, raw goat’s milk, pasteurized milk, sterilized milk), finished pasteurized milk, finished sterilized milk; whole milk powder (in accordance with 1g of milk powder dissolved in 9 ml of purified water and mixed thoroughly)

10. Operation procedures

1) Restore the test strip and sample to room temperature before use.

2) Use a micropipette to pipette 200 µ l of the sample into the micro-well, slowly aspirate 5 times until the mixture is uniform, and observe with the naked eye that there is no solid substance.

3) After incubating with a incubator (40±2) for 5 minutes, insert the test strip into the micro-well (with the MAX line end facing downwards, allowing it to be fully immersed in the solution).

4) After immersing the test strip in the micro-well for 6 minutes (extended to 10 minutes for finished pasteurized milk and finished sterilized milk), interpret the results according to the schematic diagram. Please interpret the results within 5 minutes, otherwise interpretation will be invalid.

11. Test Result Interpretation

Color depth comparison of  T line and C line

Result judgment

Result analysis

T line > C line

Negative

Aflatoxins M1 residue is lower than detection limit 0.025μg/kg in sample

T line C line or T line is invisible

Positive

Aflatoxins M1 residue is equal to or higher than detection limit 0.025μg/kgin sample

C line is invisible

Invalid

The test dipstick is invalid, test again

12. Precautions

1) The test strip can be used only once at room temperature, do not use test strips out of expiry date.

2) Please seal the tube after taking out required test strips. If can not use all 8 micro-wells at once, cup the rest and put it back to tube and sealed.

3) Do not touch the white membrane surface in the middle of test strip, avoid sunlight and fan blowing directly.

4) Milk samples should be fully liquid without any agglomeration and deposition.

5) Use the test strips testing again for positive results.

6) The results is for reference only, for confirmation, please refer to the relevant national standard methods.
